John W. Howard, Ph.D.

John earned his Doctorate in Social and Organizational Psychology at the University of Oregon in 1977, and worked for the next two years in private, non-profit research organizations. With an inclination for business and a desire to apply his education in a real-world setting, he launched a 30-year career in entrepreneurial settings, owning and managing several different successful businesses. Twice he set up from scratch sales organizations that built annual sales from zero to over $100 million, in periods of less than 5 years.

In 2001, John and his spouse, Rhonda, formed Performance Resources, LLC, to help other businesses apply both the fruits of their business experience and John's professional education, combined with the information tools developed by Profiles International, Inc.

Michele S. Howard

Solutions Provider
Michele left a 10-year career as a successful real estate broker to join Performance Resources, LLC. She also has experience and training in retail sales and in retail finance, so is comfortable working in a broad range of business settings.

Michele has a Bachelor of Science in Economics and has received extensive training from Profiles International.

Jan Foster

Jan Foster has over 25 years in consultative selling experience including 18 years representing Xerox Corporation in Chicago and Portland, Oregon, and 10 years with web technology consulting firms. She has partnered with clients within the full spectrum of enterprises including Fortune 50 to small entrepreneurial organizations, public, private, technology, healthcare, consulting services, non-profit, government and startup organizations.

For the past seven years, Jan has been deeply involved in the training and development field, working with companies to develop effective interactive, web-based training and communications programs. She has been very active in the American Society for Training and Development, the Organizational Development Network, Software Association of Oregon and other professional organizations that build leadership skills in employees and their businesses. Jan is also founder of an executive networking group which has supported over 250 experienced professionals through job transitions.

Jan is skilled at building strong relationships and helping organizations reach higher levels of professionalism and client satisfaction. Jan holds a BA in Psychology from University of Kentucky.

Helen Horton, SPHR

Helen is a seasoned Human Resources veteran with experience in healthcare, high tech, and retail industries. As a member of several senior executive teams, she has first hand experience with and solutions to the challenges of creating a world class culture. Her passion is building an "employer of choice" organization where people have solid relationships with their managers, can do what they do best, and have the chance to learn and grow. Through the use of precision assessment tools, results-based people decisions can be made, enhancing employee engagement and delivering a substantial return on investment.

Helen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and has completed selected graduate coursework in the Marriott School of Management, both at Brigham Young University. She is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources through the Human Resources Certification Institute of SHRM.
