John W. Howard, Ph.D.

Dr. Howard received his doctorate in Social and Organizational Psychology from the University of Oregon in 1977. After two postgraduate years in a private research setting, he spent 22 years in management and ownership positions in a variety of businesses, including commercial real estate and development and recreational vehicle sales. He has extensive real-world experience in retail and wholesale finance, and has current clients in those fields, hospitality, manufacturing, title insurance, mortgage banking and customer service. In 2001, he entered a strategic business partnership with Profiles International, Inc, and now applies his education and experience to the use of scientifically validated assessment tools in business settings. He is the editor of Employer’s Advantage newsletter (a monthly newsletter with international circulation of over 100,000 businesses). He is published frequently in business magazines and newspapers. He is nationally recognized as an expert in the fields of human resource assessments, hiring systems, employee retention, and productivity increases.
